Bio
Addisu Turi is Chief Technology Officer at Truth Initiative, overseeing all aspects of servers and systems, network security, telecommunications, audio/video, and overall IT infrastructure. He also supervises and mentors a team of specialists supporting computing, network administration, security, and other information technologies along with enterprise applications.
Before Joining Truth Initiative in 2007, Addisu held systems administration and network engineering roles in mission-driven nonprofit organizations, including World Vision International, Save the Children U.S., and National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR).
When Addisu isn’t working to create the first tobacco-free generation, he can be found taking care of his family or traveling and relaxing with them. Addisu received a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from Addis Ababa University and a master’s degree in information systems engineering from Johns Hopkins University. He is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE).
