Bio
Mary Dominguez serves as Vice President, Partnerships in Marketing, where she has worked on the truth brand since 2005. She leads the internal creative team in the creation and development of truth brand initiatives connecting with young adults about the health effects, social consequences of smoking and vaping nicotine and the marketing tactics of the tobacco industry. She also led the development and creation of the Emmy Award winning Treatment Box campaign, part of the truth about opioids campaign.
Dominguez was named the Stevie Award Employee of the Year in 2017 from the American Business Awards. During her tenure at Truth Initiative, truth has won hundreds of awards including Lions, Emmys, Ogilvy’s, Shorties and Effies. In June 2016, truth was named the most effective brand in North American Effie Index, a three-way time for first place with CVS Health and Walmart. truth was also named “Campaign of the Decade for 2000 to 2010 by the readers of AdWeek.
Dominguez received her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Richmond. She earned her Master’s in Marketing degree from Johns Hopkins Carey Business School. She is also a mom of twin boys and has a dog named Princess Leia.
